Three CRN Alarm Transmitter models are available to fit security applications ranging from simple
Long Range Radio backup to Total Data TransferTM of all digital dialer information via radio.
Each unit consists of a CRN data encoder and a 2 watt RF transmitter, housed in a compact, rugged stainless steel enclosure with concealed wiring terminals. The exclusive CRN Blink-of-an-Eye data format provides extended range and reliability not obtainable with FSK and DTMF formats.
Available models include 6-channel, 12-channel (with user selectable restoral feature), and a Total Data TransferTM model which can transmit up to 256 unique codes based on digital dialer output, with eight auxiliary channels.

- 6 high-trigger channels are triggered by voltage (6 to 12VDC), contact closure or TTL; selectable option provides 3 low- trigger channels triggered by electronic pull-to-ground
12-Channel Model
Total Data TransferTM Model
- Transmits complete digital dialer information via radio using the exclusive CRN Blink-of-an-Eye data format, with no increase in radio air time
- Telco supervision circuit transmits radio signal if telephone line fails
- Battery supervision circuit transmits radio signal if supply voltage falls below 11.5V
- 8 Auxiliary high trigger channels
Input channels are triggered by voltage input (6 to 12VDC), contact closure, or TTL; optional models allow 3 of the channels to be triggered by low input (electronic pull-to-ground). Concealed screw terminals provide easy connection of 12VDC, ground and the input channel triggers. An industry standard BNC connector is used for easy connection of a 50 ohm antenna to the RF output.
All models send a supervisory test signal at programmable intervals. Unit identity (account number), supervisory interval, number of alarm
repeats, and lead-in delay are set at the factory for quick installation but, in addition, are user programmable.
Available in UHF (450-512MHz) and VHF (150-174MHz) models, the fully synthesized design requires no user crystals, eliminating the lead time associated with purchasing crystals for a customers frequency. In addition, the RF stage features a 20-second transmit timeout, which is independent of the data encoder, to eliminate the possibility of channel interference.
Total Data TransferTM Model
A CRN exclusive, the unique Total Data TransferTM (TDT) model interprets the output of any industry standard digital dialer and transmits complete digital dialer data (account number and codes) via radio using the CRN Blink-of-an-Eye data format, thereby preserving precious radio airtime. Two digit, hexadecimal codes allow for a total of 256 unique conditions. A built-in telephone line fault circuit constantly monitors the telephone line and sends a radio alarm if the telephone line fails. In addition, the TDT model has a built-in battery supervision circuit, and will transmit a low battery signal when the power supply voltage falls below 11.5VDC.
