The Network Operations Center
The CRN Proprietary Wireless Network is a system that includes fixed point-to-point UHF and cellular radio transmitting devices that send wireless signals to our Network Operations Center (NOC). The NOC collects the encrypted wireless signals, instantly decodes those signals and routes them to a pre-determined recipient designated by our customer. Information transferred from the signaling device through the NOC to the recipient is completed in seconds; at faster speeds than signals sent over ordinary telephone connections. Wireless connectivity ensures that the signal gets through without concern for damaged or cut telephone lines.
The NOC is designed with robust redundancy required to assure that mission critical data is captured and properly transmitted to the appropriate recipient including any designated recipient, such as a central monitoring station.
