NearNet UHF Point-to-Point Network
NearNet is the UHF point-to-point radio signal monitoring network division of CRN Wireless. The NearNet proprietary network utilizes licensed FCC frequencies in the UHF spectrum and an extensive system of tower facilities to serve the New York metropolitan area. A seamless connection from the subscriber’s alarm control panel enables reporting of critical alarm conditions to ANY central station. NearNet devices act as a back-up or redundant path to traditional telephone or VOIP alarm connections. With NearNet the alarm signal gets through over the air regardless of telephone line status. Our licensed frequencies are not subject to ”sunset” and as a result, the Nearnet products and network have provided stable, uninterrupted service with some NearNet units remaining in continuous operation for over 22 years.
